Welcome to Hillstone Weekly Update. In this week, we would like to introduce two main events:

  • Hillstone Partners Advisory Board Meeting
  • NFT ticket trading platform $eed

Let’s go through the details.

Hillstone Partners Advisory Board Meeting

Rayol Hwang (CEO of Hillstone Partners) speaking at the meeting

The meeting was held on Oct. 6 Thursday (KST) in the headquarter of Hillstone Partners. Attendees include Kim Yeongsin, the professor of computer science at Kyung Hee University, Han Hohyeon, the chairman of the Electronic Signature Forum, Ji Seokgu, the former CEO of KIC Europe Gmbh, Park Jeonga, the professor of Soongsil University, Lee Gwanghui, the chief editor of Mirae News, and Rayol Hwang, the CEO of Hillstone Partners.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the current trend in the digital asset market and measures to protect investors while gaining their trust.

Rayol states that, ‘Although the digital asset market is growing at a fast pace among young generations, we need rules and legislations to protect investors. I think that faster legislative actions are crucial to the further development of the digital asset market.’

Moreover, according to Rayol, countries such as the U.S, Europe, and China are making policies related to digital assets, trying to step ahead in the digital asset market. Similarly, the Korean government has also announced its 5-year plan to establish laws and regulations in the crypto industry.

Park Jeonga, the professor of Soongsil University, points out that ‘the bearish sentiment in the crypto market could be a huge opportunity for Hillstone Partners if it could successfully nurture a promising blockchain project and gain the trust of investors.’
